- Baptismal Preparation Class
  
  Parents and godparents are required to attend a baptismal preparation class if they have not done so previously. Classes at Immaculate Conception are held on the second Thursday of each month at 5:00pm in the parish office (rectory). Parents should inform godparents of this requirement.

- Baptismal Sponsor Information
  
  The Church requires that there be at least one godparent (sponsor) who is baptized and confirmed and who is an active Catholic in good standing. In addition, the family may also designate a second person to stand with the parents of the child on the day of baptism. This second person, if not a baptized and confirmed Catholic, may stand as an official witness, but she/he cannot be named a sponsor.
