In Christ you also, when you had heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and had believed in him, were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit(Ephesians 1:13).
Confirmation is the sealing of the Holy Spirit. It is the completion of initiation into the Church and empowers its recipients to take upon themselves their journey of faith with greater maturity and personal responsibility.
If you are a baptized Catholic who is 18 years of age or older, please contact the Pastor of Immaculate Conception (504.529.1477, ext. 243) to find out more about what is involved in being confirmed.
If you are a high school student and wish to be confirmed, please click the tab entitled "Process and Requirements" to learn more about the Immaculate Conception Parish preparation program designed to prepare young men and women for confirmation at our church on Tuesday evening, March 14, 2023.
